São Luiz Repowering
With new generators and turbines, new transmission line and infrastructure improvements we will be self-sustainable in renewable energy, after the implementation of Gaia V. By means of this, San Luis Hydro power plant repowering, at Unidade Papel SC, will allow an increase from 2MW to 11,5MW of installed power in the power plant.

The Gaia IV – Cristo Rei Repowering and Gaia V – São Luiz Repowering projects are currently under review due to the wait for the necessary environmental releases that imply budget and schedule adjustments for both projects. Meeting all legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring that the project is conducted in accordance with environmental sustainability standards is Irani’s commitment.
