Celulose Irani won the Exemplary Company of Latin America Award for the recognition of socio-environmental responsibility actions implemented by the company.
This event is promoted by the Centro Mexicano para La Filantropía (Cemefi), the award will be presented during the Fourth Meeting of the Latin American Socially Responsible Companies, which will take place between March 28 and 30 in Mexico City, and will include companies from all over Latin America that have completed successful activities and projects in all the major areas of socio-environmental responsibility, quality of life in the company, ethics, corporate governance, community liaison, care and preservation of the environment.
Today, socio-environmental responsibility is one of the key values held by Celulose Irani. It is based on these responsible attitudes that we take on a broader role in society and get positive results that go beyond profit and production maximization.
The Centro Mexicano para La Filantropía is a private, nonprofit making organization, which was founded in 1988 and consists of 720 members which are part of companies, associations, foundations, individuals, government agencies and international institutions.
