With the CDM project – Clean Development Mechanism for the Co-generation plant, Celulose Irani received in October, the ECO 2007 prize in the Responsible Business Practices – PRSE, category environment.
Developed and launched by Amcham – American Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo in 1982, the ECO Prize is a pioneer in the recognition of companies that adopt socially responsible practices that seek to strengthen the reflection on the development of the concept and of the practices of business citizenship in Brazil.
The projects were appraised by 60 jurors and totaled 178 enrolled works, 76 that came from small and medium sized companies.
