IRANI was rewarded by the CDM project – Clean Development Mechanism for the Co-generation Plant. The project was recognized by the 14th Ecological Expression Award – the most important event of this type in the South of the Country in the business segment, as an exemplary initiative of the Company’s environmental administration.
The Award was created in1993 by the Publisher Expressão (Expression), one year after the World Conference on the Environment, Eco 92, with the objective of publishing the best ecological deeds that were done by companies and to stimulate the spreading of the ecological values.
The winning actions of the award will be presented in the Annual Expression of Ecology 2006.
